We are meeting more converts every year. RV travelers see the light and transition over to the cruising lifestyle. After visiting every state (except Hawaii, NJ & RI) by RV this couple want to see America from the water’s edge just like our forefathers who settled our country.
What do you do after the kids leave home and the sport boat on the trailer isn’t big enough to meet your new cruising desires. Buy a larger boat of course! But what should you buy? You search the net, read magazines like Passagemaker and other cruising publications, attend Trawler Fest and AGLCA (Great Loop)Rendezvous and form an IDEA of what you want and need.

Dear Chris and Alyse,
I don’t know if you remember me or not from the Rendezvous at Joe Wheeler State Park. You gave me a personal demonstration on how to pick up a mooring ball (out in the hallway). I wanted you to know that after using mooring balls several times in the Keys, we had no problems. The first time there was a little anxiety, but it wasn’t difficult. After that, you’d think we had been using the mooring balls our whole life. Thank you for giving me confidence.
