Dear Chris and Alyse,

We are about to start a second week on our new boat, taking a few days visiting Savannah. While here at dinner last night, Michelle and I reflected on this ‘mini’ milestone for us. We both feel fortunate to have made the decision to call you and experience the extremely valuable three days that we spent with you on our
48 ft.trawler … CHANGER.

As you know we have been boating for over 30 years both sail and power, usually on weekends or vacations in local waters.  So we had some experience and were not sure if our time with you would be worthwhile… well, we never should have questioned our decision.

Why?  We were looking for training that would assist us in getting to know the more complex systems of our boat, boat handling skills for close in maneuvering  and how to develop techniques for us to work together as crew.  We were not sure the scope of that agenda could be satisfactorily be met in three days…. we want to let you know our expectations were exceeded.  The result… two very pleased customers and two new boat owners that are succeeding early on in our cruising life.

So thank you very much for your skill, knowledge and wonderful skill as teachers. Your personalities both individually and together are perfect for the value you deliver.

So tomorrow we continue north on the ICW… hopefully reaching Narragansett Bay early August… of course just a plan as we are sure we will encounter many attractive distractions… who knows, but that is one of the great parts of our adventure.

Please be sure to include us on your list of very satisfied customers… and feel free to use us as a reference, although we are sure you have plenty.

Hope to see you in the fall.

Sincerely,
Michelle and Doug Jacoby
