It is January at Trawler Fest in Sunny HOT Florida. Snow is coming down everywhere else throughout North America and we are so lucky to be boating. Four couples join us aboard the Beneteau Swift Trawler 52 for two days of "Building Cruising Confidence as a Couple".

During this University course we help couples transition from their smaller boat or sailboat to cruising together in the Trawler Lifestyle...LTD-Living The Dream.

Click thru the photos to see our docking, maneuvering, line handling and engine room tours aboard this beautiful Swift Trawler.

Everyone gets time at the wheel and time as navigator, too.
Practice. Practice. Practice. Docking really can be fun if everyone is on the same page. Those at the helm station step away from the wheel to see what's happening at the water level.
Fenders deployed and lines ready for a floating dock. A midship line used as a breast line makes docking easy on most trawlers. The pilot house makes communication even easier. The mate calls up to the captain BREAST LINE ON!
The First Class of 2011! Give us a call and schedule time aboard our trawler in Florida- 772-205-1859. See you on the water!
